Inther Logistics Technology, Inthers Chinese business office, automates several distribution centers of Alibaba. The biggest e-commerce company in the world, known as Alibaba.com, is optimizing its processes in several distribution centers. The optimisation of four DC’s in Shanghai and one in Ningbo has already started.
Alibaba decided to partner with system integrator Inther in order to improve efficiency within their intralogistics. The DC’s mentioned will be automated with vertical lifts and several hundred meters of conveyor. Inther Logistics Technology is currently implementing the systems, which will be managed by Warehouse Control System Inther LC.
