With the acquisition of the Finnish dealer Konekesko Oy, Still has a direct sales outlet in Finland and strengthens its presence in the Scandinavian market. All Finnish business activities have been grouped under the name STILL Finland. The new subsidiary is part of STILL’s sales and service network in Scandinavia.
STILL Finland continues all of Konekesko Oy’s activities in the industrial trucks sector from its current site in Vantaa Hakkila. The new subsidiary also takes over all employees. The management of STILL Finland is carried out by Pekka Vaisto, head of the forklift truck division of Konekesko. Continuity of the sale of STILL trucks on the one hand and a professional service for existing STILL customers in Finland on the other hand is guaranteed with the flawless takeover.
“A direct sales company in Finland is a logical step following the earlier acquisition of the Still activities in Norway in 2016. In the future, our sales and service network in Scandinavia will serve Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. In this way, we can consistently pursue our ambitious objectives in the Scandinavian market,” says Thomas A. Fischer, Director of Sales, Marketing and Service (CSO) of Still GmbH. “With our own network, we can provide a more professional and efficient service to our very specific customer needs in the Scandinavian countries. We will continue to focus on the development of both sales and service, as well as rental and used trucks, in order to offer our Scandinavian customers the complete Still-scala.”
