ECB50 is BYD’s new truck with the largest lithium ironsphosphate battery in the world. It is one of world premieres BYD showed at the CeMAT 2018 this april in Hanover. The electric truck is a replacement for existing diesel and lpg trucks and offers all advantages of electric driving and fast charging. The other world premiere is the first ATEX-certified CB truck with Lithium battery. With it’s life long battery life the owner of the truck does not have the reinvest in an expensive ATEX-certified battery during the life cycle of the truck. Besides these BYD also presented also seven European premieres at CeMAT 2018, as you can see and hear in this video.
