Jungheinrich and EP Equipment announce strategic partnership

Jungheinrich and EP Equipment have entered into a strategic partnership under the motto “Shaping the future of material handling together”. By joining forces, both companies expect to offer customers worldwide significant benefits when it comes to efficiency, productivity and sustainability in material handling.

With their combined expertise, Jungheinrich and EP Equipment can focus on customer-oriented and innovative warehouse and lift trucks. This will make both parties more competitive in their product offerings. As a first step, EP Equipment will contribute to the expansion of Jungheinrich’s portfolio with the new Mid-Tech brand: AntOn by Jungheinrich. This brand focuses on electric forklifts and warehouse trucks. Both parties have a similar company history, shared focus on electric material handling equipment and over the years have positively changed the intralogistics sector through innovation.

“We are excited about this new partnership. It will bring significant benefits to our customers. The expansion of our portfolio is an important part of our Strategy 2030+. With this we want to strengthen our position in the growing Mid-Tech market. Together with EP, we can offer a full range of trucks – simply the right truck for every customer,” states Lars Brzoska, CEO of Jungheinrich.

“The partnership with Jungheinrich is another step in our mission to transform the industry – from combustion to electric trucks. Together we can benefit from economies of scale in production. We will learn from each other and strengthen our position as leading players in lithium-ion powered material handling,” adds John He, CEO of EP Equipment.
