Late February, Jungheinrich unveiled a series of innovations in the port of Hamburg. They range from pallet trucks to high-voltage forklifts and from new mobile robots to the powerLINE ETV 4i reach truck with unprecedented lifting and lowering performance. Check out the video for a sneak peek.

The message is clear: Jungheinrich is serious about being at the forefront of electric forklift trucks. With #raceforpoleposition, they not only have several new trump cards up their sleeve, they are also targeting a segment other than just high-tech. The new AntOn brand, which is being developed in close collaboration with a Chinese manufacturer, is an example of this. A range of very competitively priced pallet trucks, stackers, and forklift trucks with lithium-ion technology, available directly from stock. They come in one configuration, ‘as is’ – which for the forklifts is already an extremely complete package with lighting and mirrors. No trucks for 24/7 use, but reliable, simple and ergonomic to operate and easy to service. Jungheinrich also keeps all parts in stock.
In the high-tech segment, Jungheinrich has many innovations in store as well. The EAC 212a is one of its mobile robots. This AMR combines horizontal transport of loads up to 1,200 kg with a lift height of 1,200 mm. The AMR works with AI-based 3D pallet detection and recognizes all possible pallet types by itself.

Thanks to LiDAR technology, the autonomously operating trucks can be deployed quickly and without structural modifications to the warehouse or production environment. The various scanners for navigation and safety are neatly concealed within the contours of the truck.
Among the warehouse trucks, the ETV 4i reach truck drew a lot of attention. In line with the existing ETV 2i (emphasis on efficiency) and 3i (emphasis on productivity), the ETV 4i excels when it comes to maximum productivity in applications where every second counts.
Thanks to liftPRO & loweringPRO technology, these trucks lift and lower twice as fast as other reach trucks and are up to 20% more productive. To achieve this, the trucks are equipped with two hydraulic pumps that work together intelligently based on the required lifting speed. We hope to be able to substantiate Jungheinrich’s claim soon with an intensive reach truck test.
With a series of completely newly developed EFG 2/2i and 3/3i forklifts, Jungheinrich is introducing remarkable newcomers in the class up to 2 tons. The three- and four-wheel trucks are super quiet, extremely compact, and yet offer a very spacious workplace. Newly styled and very low dashboards offer better forward visibility, slimmer roof pillars reduce blind spots, and the compact chassis provides smaller turning circles and thus extra space in the warehouse. Other notable features include the new display, the neatly concealed quick-charge connection, and an LED strip at the rear of the protective roof. The strip not only serves as a brake light and turn signal, but also shows the battery’s charge status. This is useful when the truck is connected to the charger and you want to know if it is sufficiently operational. The trucks are available with both lithium-ion and conventional lead-acid batteries.
In the higher weight class of 4 to 5 tons, the new EFG models combine higher productivity with highly energy-efficient operation. New, more powerful SRM+ engines and higher hydraulic output ensure higher performance and better operation of front-mounted attachments.
Visibility and space optimization improve the workplace, and the new AI-supported camera technology increases safety when reversing. Like the compact trucks, the heavier EFGs are also available with both lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries.
Jungheinrich saved the bombshell for the near future for last: the FalcOn. An initial prototype with high-voltage technology based on the new EFG 5 series. Thanks to its powerful 400-Volt system, similar to those used in electric cars, the FalcOn combines enormous power with high acceleration, unprecedented lifting performance, and a top speed of up to 26 km/h.
We were able to briefly drive the FalcOn on the quay in Hamburg, where its potential power was immediately apparent. For safety reasons, the top speed was limited to 14 km/h, but the enormous torque during acceleration was certainly impressive. According to Jungheinrich, the FalcOn’s scores exceed the performance of IC-powered forklifts. With the fast charger, the battery can be recharged from 20% to 80% in 30 minutes. All you need is a lunch break.
“We are taking on the best hydrostatic truck on the market without restrictions,” says Jungheinrich’s Chief Sales Officer Nadine Despineux in her closing remarks: “Come to LogiMAT in Stuttgart (March 24-26, 2026) and experience our innovations firsthand. The Race for Pole Position has begun!”
