New Jungheinrich ERE aims at productivity and ergonomics

Jungheinrich has renewed its ride along pallet truck ERE 225. The new ERE has become more productive, more ergonomic and safer. A preview of the newcomer was shown earlier this year at the press conference at the plant in Norderstedt. Jungheinrich launches the new ERE at the LogiMAT trade fair in Stuttgart. Check the video and learn more about the unique features of the new ERE.

The new ERE is available in various configurations: with a folding platform and in different versions with a fixed platform with sideways or rear entry. Also an extra short platform is available, with which the ERE claims the shortest L2-size in the market. In Drive Plus mode the ERE delivers a speed of 14 km/h, resulting in a productivity gain of 15%, according to Jungheinrich.

Also new on the ERE is DayLED lighting for added visibility and safety. A foot sensor monitors a safe driver position and brings the truck quietly to a stop when the foot is outside the contours of platform.
The ERE has also become more ergonomic. The steering column is adjustable in height and the operator platform is easily adaptable to the weight of the driver. By simply pressing the buttons, the spring tension increases and body vibrations are minimized.

Also improved is the curveCONTROL which automatically controls the speed during cornering. The system is now load dependent and prevents the falling of loads in fast corners. PositionCONTROL ensures that the truck handles each load with a minimum lifting movement, to save time and energy.

As for energy, the ERE also comes with a 2 shifts 1 charge guarantee. With the optional Lithium Ion battery even a three-shift operation without changing batteries is feasible. A battery loading time of 30 minutes during breaks is sufficient for a continuous operation.
