Global rental company Riwal and technology provider SmartEquip have joined forces to support parts and service operations worldwide. Riwal will utilise SmartEquip’s Enterprise application to automate and streamline orders for spare parts and materials. The implementation is planned to go live in Spain first and is expected to roll out across the entire company globally within 18 months. At the moment Riwal operates across 57 locations in 16 countries.
By using SmartEquip’s online parts ordering system Riwal expects to increase efficiency by reducing costs associated with internal service, parts inventory and back-office. In addition the rental specialist will be able to improve service even further as SmartEquip will enable Riwal to increase fleet availability and uptime for customers.
