System integrator Inther Group has opened a new location in San Francisco, California. With the expansion, the supplier hopes to strengthen its position in the American market.
Inther was already active in the American market with a location in Monroe, North Carolina, but is opening an additional location to serve customers all over America better.
In recent years, Inther Group has achieved successes all over the world, carrying out several logistics automation projects for renowned customers, such as Estée Lauder, Skechers, General Motors, Medtronic, Stryker, Alibaba and JD.com.
In addition to the traditionally important markets in Europe and Asia, Inther is now focusing more and more on the important growth market in the US.
In the US, Inther will mainly support companies that have logistics automation plans. The key focus will be on e-commerce and fine-mesh distribution logistics, both for shippers and for 3PL.
“There is a growing interest in our system solutions in North America,” says Managing Director Martijn Herder. “Both by adding additional expertise and our further plans for the future, we indicate that we also want to be active in this market”.
