Earlier this year the IFOY organisation announced the nominations for the IFOY Award 2016. 13 trucks and solutions have been chosen for the final round and will compete in 5 categories:

Category: Warehouse Truck ‘Highlifter’
Category: Warehouse Truck ‘Lowlifter’
Category: Special Vehicle
Category: Intralogistics Solution
Which trucks are ultimately chosen for the IFOY Award 2016 will depend to a large extent on the results of the IFOY Test and IFOY Innovation Check, which all nominated trucks have to undergo over a period of one week on the premises of the official logistics partner CeMAT in Hannover.
Among other things, the IFOY Award assesses innovative quality, technology, design, ergonomics, handling, safety, cost effectiveness and sustainability. The key criteria for intralogistics solutions include novel/innovative quality, customer benefit, sustainability and marketability of the solution.
The winner in each category will be chosen by a jury made up of 25 internationally reputed trade journalists and leading logistics media from 16 countries around the globe. The IFOY Award will be presented on 31 May at the CeMAT opening ceremony in Hannover.
